OUR COVID-19 WORKING PRACTISES AND PRECAUTIONS


Following the recent outbreak of COVID-19, we contacted all our customers to reassure them that we at BKR Systems were taking the spread of this virus very seriously. We immediately undertook several measures in response to the pandemic in order to minimize the impact on all our clients. Although a great number of businesses began to work from home, some of our customers directly or indirectly, support essential services such as the NHS, Police, Fire Brigade, Local Authorities and other key operational companies. During this time we still continued to respond to emergency call out repairs where required but following strict practices, which included:

HOME WORKING PRINT SOLUTIONS   

We now offer home office printers and copiers, including desktop and inkjet printers covered by fully inclusive maintenance contracts. Where we once would’ve had 6 multi-functional devices on two floors of a central London office, we are now supplying 30-40 maintained, desktop devices to staff homes and 1 multi-functional device serving mainly hot desks in a smaller London office base. All print devices can still managed remotely by and maintained & repaired when required.  


THE ONGOING ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COVID-19

Unfortunately as with any economic crises, it’s inevitable some companies will buckle under the pressure. The country has already seen businesses large and small go in to Administration and our fear is we will only see an increase of this in the coming months. As always we’re happy to help new and existing clients save costs on their print equipment and maintenance cover.
